The new Legi-Air 50300 LSA (LSA stands for Linear Servo-electric Applicator), is a high performance labeller which has been specially developed for logistics companies with high production level variance and high product throughput. It is characterised by extremely high application speeds when labelling stationary or moving products of different heights. The labeller from Bluhm Systeme is able to print and apply up to 60 labels per minute with a stroke variation of 500 mm according to the label size and type of application. It is therefore two to three times as fast as previous standard pneumatic solutions. This is made possible by a servo-electric linear drive.
Optionally the height of the incoming product to be labelled can be determined in advance with a sensor in this solution. This enables the applicator to be pre-positioned during the labelling process, with fast, precisely positioned labelling. The new drive concept, combined with the lightweight design – the weight of the moving parts has been reduced by 75 per cent compared to the conventional design – turn the Legi-Air 5300 LSA into a high-speed label applicator with high precision application.
Yet the system has excellent consumption: the servo-electric drive used consumes much less energy than servo-pneumatic drives and also has a much longer service life. The basic Legi-Air 5300 system, which is modular in design, can also be expanded for other requirements with special application tamps and barcode control devices. Extremely user-friendly: the controller can be remotely operated. The large multilingual text display can be freely positioned and is very easily accessible. Moreover, the large label store in the labelling system ensures long operating time because fewer production stops due to changing rolls are required.
